IT Retail Announces Integrated Support for BlackHawk gift cards and the Integration of MTXEPS’ ServerEPS Electronic Payments Engine
RIVERSIDE, CA, January 30, 2009 – IT Retail announces integrated support for BlackHawk gift cards and the integration of the MTXEPS’ ServerEPS Electronic Payments engine into IT Retail’s Retail™ POS software application for the Grocery, Drug and Convenience Store sectors.
ServerEPS is MTXEPS’ internet-hosted payment services platform expanding IT Retail’s offering to support both MTXEPS’ in-store solution (WinEPS) and web-based solution (ServerEPS). Just like WinEPS, ServerEPS provides a range of electronic payment options including Debit and Credit transactions, EBT, Gift Card, and Check Authorization/Conversion. The Windows-based solution will enable IT Retail’s POS customers to benefit from advanced features including automatic tender resolution, automatic debit/credit conversion and customer-defined configuration capabilities. IT Retail will serve as the single point of contact for the POS and the electronic payment solution, both for applications and support. ServerEPS reduces PCI requirements for merchants as confidential card-holder data is store outside of the merchants in-store network on the ServerEPS platform.
IT Retail has also expanded their integration to both MTXEPS products to include integrated processing for BlackHawk gift cards. BlackHawk gift cards can now be activated as part of the POS system eliminating the need for merchants to have a secondary stand-beside solution to activate the gift cards.
