RIVERSIDE, CA, April 14, 2008 – IT Retail announced the integration of Invatron’s PLUM Store Scale Management into IT Retail’s Retail™ PROFESSIONAL software application for the Grocery, Drug and Convenience Store sectors.
IT Retail’s integration into PLUM Store provides the convenience of setting all the scale PLU data and prices in Retail™ PROFESSIONAL and automatically updating all scales in the network. This not only simplifies synchronizing of scales with the POS but also saves labor costs providing a single point of entry. PLUM Store also works seamlessly with a wide variety of vendors scales saving staff from learning differing proprietary scale systems.
In essence this integration creates a single source for scale PLU administration and price management that simplifies:
• Administering PLU data on all the scales in the network.
